Getting to Grips with Granite

A great day visiting some of the Granite Tors that form the unique wilderness landscape found in Dartmoor National Park. Our instructor team give your group a tailored “hands-on” experience of the gritty granite surfaces enjoyed by climbers through rock-climbing, weaselling and bouldering. Whilst out, your instructor will give some insight into the evolution of the landscape, with its Tors as well as some of the natural history features seen en-route.
This experience is offered as part of the English National Park Experiences Collection, a curated collection that brings the stories of our National Parks to life. Each experience offers an authentic insight into the landscape and special qualities of a National Park.
